LUG display gets nomination for award!

Our "Summer Playground" that we built for the LEGO store display was nominated for a Brickee Award at BrickFair VA 2013 in the Best Vignette category! Although we didn't win, it was nice to be acknowledged! Way to go everybody! To see it up-close, come to the Carnival in September where it will be on display with some of our other MOCs.  Also, check out our Events page for other pictures from BrickFair VA 2013!

ColonialLUG Sponsors LEGO® Brand Retail Store LUG Display!

ColonialLUG has built their first ever LUG display, housed in the LUG box at the LEGO Brand Retail Store. 

We built a summertime playground, complete with port-a-potty, sandbox, and tree house. Keep an eye out for the banner plane, which flies our LUG information, and be sure to stop by the grill after you retrieve the kite from the tree. Watch the man walk his dog, and play pirates with the children on the jungle gym. And if you stay out late, find your way back to the benches and lamp where your parents are sitting. Have fun!
