ColonialLUG visits STEMNASIUM LEARNING ACADEMY!
On Saturday, March 22, 2014, ColonialLUG was invited to attend the STEMNASIUM Learning Academy's STEM Career Exploration Fair in Philadelphia. We provided the students a hands-on opportunity to see some of the engineering and math they're learning about in action: from the simple, age-old catapult to the math and engineering required in making a model into a bigger sculpture and keeping it from collapsing. Even parents helped to build a few bricks for the pyramid.
