December 4 - Exeter Township Festival of Lights
ColonialLUG displayed a two-part winter-themed layout at the Exeter Township Festival of Lights on Sunday December 4th. Visitors to our table were able to interact with our members, discover secrets in the displays, and learn some new building techniques!
* ColonialLUG members constructed a 6' Holiday Tree decorated with ornaments themed around an international selection of wintertime holidays.
* Visitors were able to explore our 2022 Winter Village layout, participating in a hidden object game.

ColonialLUG Fall 2022 - "Monster Project"
Following a successful activity last year, ColonialLUG is seeking artwork in the theme of "Haunted Houses and Monsters" drawn by kids for our talented members to build in brick-form!
Following a successful activity last year, ColonialLUG is seeking artwork in the theme of "Haunted Houses and Monsters" drawn by kids for our talented members to build in brick-form!
- Download and print the document below, or grab any piece of paper!
- Draw something cool, fun, or scary that you think fits the theme of "Haunted House" or "Monster" Get creative! Use any drawing tools or methods you want.
- Email us a picture of your drawing (just the drawing, no people please!) to ColonialLUG@gmail.com . Submissions will be accepted between September 10th and October 14th.
- Check our website starting on November 6th to see which drawings were picked, and how our members are turning them into models!
- Not every submission will be selected by our members. They will be allowed to choose to try and build whichever they want.
- Selected artwork will be displayed on our website alongside the brick-built interpretation.
- Emails and personal information will not be stored past March 2023. We will only email you if a submission is chosen by one of our builders.

Visitors to the Churchville Nature Center discovered insect-themed models built by ColonialLUG and hidden around their gardens during Arthropalooza! It was a weekend celebration of all things arthropod with a variety of activities, crafts, games, and exhibits!.
