August 12h - Pollinator Palooza.
ColonialLUG attended Pollinator Palooza, a summertime festival held at the Jackson Pond Preserve in Furlong Pennsylvania. We displayed some builds by our members and organized an interactive build for the public. Attendees were given a mostly blank baseplate canvas to build their own contributions to a "Understory" themed build. The empty landscape was quickly filled with houses, trees, snails, and even a large crocodile. As multiple builders started working on a stream, the prebuilt stump we brought with us was quickly turned into a volcano. Four hours into the event it started to rain, so we were very glad we brought our canopy with us.
